A former legislator, she had a ringside seat to political events in Hong Kong in the run-up to 1997 and immediately beyond the transition. She was the first, and only one to date, to raise a debate in 1995 about how the Chinese Communist Party would operate post-1997 for which she was pilloried by opponents. Christine Loh is a lawyer by training and became a politician in 1992. 府院高層聯合黨團 架空朱主席？
課綱微調爭議無法落幕，最大的原因，就是國民黨立委拒絕召開臨時會，因此也傳出陰謀論，府院高層跟黨團，聯手架空黨主席朱立倫，對此，朱立倫強調，立法院後來做成的決議，就跟開臨時會的差不多，跟他原本的主張相同，黨內立委也否認有架空朱立倫的情形。
記者：「總統課綱不暫緩，不開臨時會是你的指示嗎，會擔心架空朱立倫嗎。」
一聽到課綱問題，總統馬英九沒有回應，不過臨時會開不成，傳出是總統在背後運作，原本立法院長王金平，以及國民黨主席朱立倫，都呼籲立法院召開臨時會，讓課綱爭議趕快落幕，卻被國民黨立法院黨團打回票。
時間再往前推，8月3日下午，吳思華與學生當面對談前，總統府舉行的黨政高層便當會場合，總統當著朱立倫面前表態，堅持新舊課綱並行，是最後底線，行政院長毛治國，更痛批課綱是假議題，沒有退讓的空間，事後，黨團幹部林德福，也打臉朱立倫，贊成府院立場，難怪外界會聯想，府院聯合黨團，一起架空朱立倫。
國民黨主席朱立倫：「昨天（4日）的談話會，最後也做了朝野協商，過程當中我們都有掌握整個過程，最後的幾點結論也都是，有先跟我講，本來民進黨提案開臨時會，只有吳部長下台撤課綱，那事實上沒有它的法律基礎，沒有民生法案，所以開不成也是因為這個原因。」
立委(國)丁守中：「這樣子的課綱誰會支持，我們當然不支持啊，那部長如果要為，這樣的課綱修訂而下台，那我們當然都不願意見到，所以我們全力支持吳部長。」
立委(民)蔡煌瑯：「朱立倫已經喪失了，領導國民黨的威信，連他的立法院黨團，都不接受黨中央的指揮，對於王金平跟朱立倫，只能徒呼奈何。」
綠營立委見縫插針，挑起國民黨內，馬朱不和的敏感神經。（民視新聞綜合報導）
